Toogood Winery Pink Campaign Launched

Toogood Estate Winery is one of those wineries who always has something going on.  This month’s new release is truly something spectacular in more ways than one!

Winemaker Marco Cappelli is known for making outstanding dessert wines in this region, and PINK may well be one of his masterpieces.  The first known rosé port wine produced in United States, PINK happens to be released this October 2014.  Coincidence that October also happens to be Breast Cancer Awareness Month? Of course not.  Paul Toogood is a marketing master, and the release of a wine called PINK during a month that is national known as the month to raise awareness by turning everything from water bottles to NFL players socks pink just seamed natural.  Cross marketing is always a good thing, but when that good thing actually HELPS our society in some small way, well now you have a great thing!

“Everyone has been touched by cancer in some way or another, either personally or through a friend or loved one who has been afflicted” Paul Toogood said when we sat down to talk about this campaign.  Truly this wine could have been released anytime it was ready, so the choice to release in October was made so that the wine could bring some attention to this important cause and at the same time, raise some money for research.

10% of all proceeds of the sale of the wine in October 2014 will be donated to cancer research.

Reyes Digital Media created all the PINK graphics for social media, website and email marketing.  The product shot of the bottle was done in house as well.  The aspect of being involved with this project was being a part of something that can make a difference in someone’s life.  Anything you or I can do to make an impact on this dreaded disease is worth it, no matter what form it takes.
